10-Year Warranty for Consumer Purchases

Smedbo’s bathroom accessories are of very high quality, with great care taken in terms of materials, manufacturing, design, and functionality. All Smedbo bathroom series come with a 10-year warranty, except for DRY towel warmers and Outline Lite pedal bins, which have a 5-year warranty. Please note that mirrors with article numbers beginning with Z are not covered by Smedbo’s 10-year warranty. For these products, current consumer legislation applies.

If a defect in the product’s function appears within the warranty period, we undertake, upon presentation of a receipt or other proof of purchase, to repair or replace the product with an equivalent item or, if this is not possible, refund the price paid by the customer. The customer must notify the place of purchase/reseller in writing as soon as possible after discovering the defect. The place of purchase/reseller will then forward the matter to Smedbo. Our warranty commitment applies solely to the product itself and not to any consequential damages that may occur. The warranty is valid provided that the defect is not due to customer neglect or abnormal use. This warranty does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
